Hudson has long credited her family for emotional support and encouragement through the most difficult times of her career. After losing in finals of the third season of "American Idols", it was her mother who encouraged her not to give up on her dreams as she struggled with no recording contract and few offers.
During the highlights of our lives, it is important to share uplifting moments with the ones we love most. In Jennifer Hudson's life, a great portion of that has been removed.
With the rest of the world, I'd like to take this moment to offer my deepest sympathies to Jennifer Hudson and her family during their time of sorrow. I pray that she heals from this emotional challenge, and continues to fulfill her tremendous destiny.
May Darnell Donnerson, Jason Hudson, and Julian King rest in peace.

This is just a sad, crazy situation.
I hope they throw the guy that did this under the jail.

I agree. For someone who's light was shining so brightly, it's a shame that Jennifer Hudson has to deal such such a horrible tragedy. I wish her the best in getting through this.
