Do Guys Say "I Love You" Just For Sex?

He's done everything right so far. He's taken you on memorable dates to your favorite restaurant, walks in the park, dancing, and even spent the morning watching the sunrise over the ocean. He calls in the middle of his busy day just to say hello, and to see how your day has been. He's sent flowers, for no particular reason except that he thought you'd appreciate them. You seem to enjoy the same music, movies, and he's even invited you over and prepared a special meal for you. What surprised you most was that he can really cook.
After two weeks of dating and some hot-n-heavy petting, you've finally heard words you've been hoping to hear, that he loves spending as much time as possible with you and that he love's the direction that the relationship is moving. You want to experience all of him, but up to this point, he's been the perfect gentleman. You're actually turned on by the fact that he hasn't pressed the issue of sex, but you're already fantasizing about how great it's going to be. At this point, you're ready to explode just thinking about it.

It's now been a month, and if he doesn't make his move soon, you're going to start pressing him. Then, out of the blue, he says "I think I'm falling in love with you." This hits you like a ton of bricks, and finally, before you can catch your breath, he's touching and kissing you just the way you like. He's slow and caring, not rushing, but rather attentive to every area of your body. You submit fully and completely, and in the height of your passion, the words slip from your mouth as if they had a mind of their own...I LOVE YOU! You don't even know where it came from.

The next few weeks are magical. You experience some of the best love making of your sexual existence, and he's encouraged you to try things that you've never even considered before. Then, as if someone 's turned off the faucet, his phone calls and visits become less frequent. You get the usual excuses; working late, out of town on business, watching the game with the guys, and he need to spend time with the kids. You're confused, but you believe everything he tells you, because you "need" to. You plan a night that you just know he'll enjoy, and when you ask what time he can make it to your place, he stuns you with "don't you think we're moving too fast?"

Through all of you devastation and frustration, you finally realize you've been played. Now, you need some answers...

-Why do guys go through the trouble seducing women, only to pull the same BS?
-Why do they even say the "L" word when all they want is sex?
-Why are men so callous about playing with a woman's emotions?
